2+2=fish

Conan’s nutshell philosophy:

2+2 = fish

But what does this mean?

It means that you may not like the fact that English grammar, spelling, punctuation and usage all have rules. You may feel that the apostrophe, for example, should be abolished altogether. You may think that “irregardless” and “alot” are acceptable substitutions for actual words. You may, indeed, believe that the rules are unfair and arbitrary, and consequently should be flexible or (*gag*) “relative.”

You may believe all those things. That is your right.

You are, however, still wrong.

Ergo, you may not like the fact that 2+2=4. You may not even believe it. But you are empirically not correct when you say that 2+2=fish.
